This sucks. One of my favorite shows- Mythbusters- is gone. 
But they at least obliterated their crash test dummy on the final episode. Nothing says 'scientific research' like a dummy loaded onto a rocket sled and accelerated into a concrete wall at a speed in excess of 700 miles per hour.
